Not been scared since I was younger and saw exorcist and Halloween in the theatre.......

But this one shocked the shit outta me

I love both those movies (especially the "nurses" scene in Silent Hill). Like vacancy, scary movies haven't scared me since I was a kid, but I love the genre.

My pick would be the 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead. The first half of the original was too slow for me, but I was hooked from beginning to end with the remake.

"It's Alive", the deformed monster baby movie.

When I was a kid, "The Blob" (the original) scared the hell out of me. The blob can get you anywhere and it makes no sound.

"The Blair Witch Project" was pretty creepy but I wouldn't call it scary.

Same with "Martyrs".

When I was younger the American remake of The Ring (the first one) scared me. The last film I saw at the movies that scared me was Hereditary.

So far nothing new scares me. People keep telling to see the exorcist. But possession movies don't interest me a lot

I just remembered the ABC miniseries Red Rose scared the shit out of me when it first aired. Hell, I saw it ten years later as an adult and it still scared me.
