Saw this movie last night with my buddy and really enjoyed it. It's made by the same guys who made "Shaun of the Dead," a favorite of mine and completely worth seeing if you have not already.

Premise is a highly decorated London police officer is sent to be a sergeant in a sleepy little London village--won't say why, because it's one of the film's earliest funny moments. Once in the village, he begins to experience the difference in big city police services and small town ones. Lots of great laughs in this one!

Saw this tonight with a couple of friends! Loved it! It was better then Shaun of the Dead!!

We could not stop laughing! OH GOD!

Best line in the movie....

"By the Power of Greyskull!"

LOL

Seriously, one of the best movies of 2007 so far...

Easily quotable, much like Shaun of the Dead, but sooooooo much easier...

I saw it opening night with the buddies, and thankfully I was the one driving...As I convinced them to buy tickets when the cinema opened, as opposed to chancing it, and not to mention so spend an earlier hour getting seats.

Needless to say, it was pakced. If we didn't take my advice, well, we wouldn't have been sitting together.

I've been re-watching it every chance I get, and it still makes me laugh every time.

Two words:

Living Statue.

LOL!!

That part was fucking awesome too! Oh reaper my msn when down a month or two ago and I lost all contacts so send me a pm and I put you back on the list!! sorry I've been busy lately!!

I was wondering what the devil was going on about that....

But yes, if we don't deal with this mess soon, we're going to be up to our balls in jugglers!

Okay I add you tommorrow! This is really a good movie!! Wonder what the next one will be about?

anyways....

Sergeant Butterman, the little hand says it's time to rock and roll!

^

I wouldn't consider it the next one...

Considering that they didn't write it...

Oh well, I'll give it a chance.

Hot Fuzz was fucking aces.

Granted, I kind of had a little problem with Edgar's propensity for hyper-editing, but damn hell, the 'falling spire scene' has got to be one of my most favorite things in the history of cinema.

The way they parodied the homo-eroticism in buddy cops made my day. Of course, having to watch it with my older bro who seems to (silently) know that I'm gay made the thing a little awkward.

Oh, and the priest screaming "Jesus Christ' in the final act made me dizzy with glee for some reason.

"your a doctor...DEAL WITH IT!"

this movie just has some of the best lines ever!! The last 30 mins of the movie was the best part! The gun fight scenes! LOL At one point it looked like the old sega game "house of the dead" with the flying knives and such!!

"YAARP!"

LOL

It's absolutely fucking brilliant!!
I love it.

Toossssssserrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! :rotflmao:
