how can I get to know him

hi, guys. I want to know this guy but Idk where to start.

I'm the TA for a lab class and he is not in the section but in another section on the same day. I really like what he looks like.(not hot, but my type) I just have several words with durihng the whole semester and I had quite a few eye contact with him and he looked at me too. Idk if he is gay or not and my gardar just doesnt work on him. He dresses quite straight.

I know his name but I cant find him on fb. There r only two classes left but I dont have any justifiable excuses to talk to him.

Am I just too silly? Appreciate any comments. THX

BTW: I dont have any influence on his grade so as a TA, I'm professional. lol

I would definitely talk to him. If you need a pretext to do so, mention something about one of his labs or talk to him when he's leaving class about classes he's taking next semester or other things like hobbies.

I hope I can run into him in some other places other than the lab. Then I will talk to him so easily...It's just so weird to talk to him with everyone around, possibly even other TAs and my students...

You can hope to run into him somewhere else, but if it hasn't happened yet, what are you going to do to make it more likely?

Can you leave class at the same time as he does?

Are there assigned seats at the lecture? Do all the TAs sit together? If you have the chance sit next to him. Ask some questions as was suggested by someone above and go from there.

Another option if he is majoring in your subject would be to give him a call during winter break and let him know your availblea should he want some help with choosing future courses.

I've always heard of the TA's sitting in the back, but being that it's a lab I don't know how much sitting is going on.

Constantly, probably every second of just being with any men at all. Especially since I don't have any guy friends that I don't talk to out of school. And since I'm not so close with the gay guys at my school. Even when a guy just glances at me for a second my mind starts going, probably because I'm desperate to just experience it for my first time.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. what would it hurt to strike up a conversation? Compliment him on his shirt or ask him if he has any questions before the test. Find something to break the ice. I used to be the wall flower. Too scared to do something. I lost so many chances to meet some great people. Even if nothing romantic comes of it. There is always friendship or maybe he knows someone that you could end up dating. Dont sit back and watch life go by. Be active and take chances. If not with him, do it with the next "hottie" you see. I promise you wont regret it.
