How come HERE! channel isn't free like Logo?

Or it should be free on demand like other networks. I have all the pay channels like Starz, HBO, etc. But I would still have to pay extra for Here!. That's not fair. HERE! has a lot of good shows and decent movies (as decent as gay movies get). It is pretty fucked up that you have to pay extra for a decent gay networks since logo has such a shitty lineup.
 
I AGREE! I don't get HERE! but I can view there line up, and it looks great. They even have some of the newer indie gay films like Boy Culture. Wish I could watch it.
 
I subscribed to HERE because of "Shelter". It's only 7 dollars a month and it's totally worth it. You order the movie or series you want to see just like pay per view (no extra charge). They have new movies every week and there are all great! Before I subscribed, I bought so many movies at 20 dollars each and now they are all being shown on HERE. Fantastic channel, well worth it!
 
Unlike LOGO, they know the content they provide isn't shit, much like HBO and Starz, and therefore feel it's acceptable to charge for it. And if I didn't know...er...other methods of watching all the movies they show, I'd gladly subscribe to them.
 
The reason that here! isn't shit is because you pay for it like HBO and Showtime. There are no commercials on here! which means no money from advertising which we know is where the networks make most of their money. I would much rather pay seven bucks a month which I do to subscribe for decent uncut movies and programming than watch LOGO which I dropped due to the fact that it sucks and has commercials. If getting here! is that important then drop one of your other pay channels to offset the cost if that is an issue.

here! is also producing a lot of films for the gay community which is a good thing. SHELTER is just one example of a great movie that was backed financially by Paul Colichman, CEO of here! I will be more than happy to support a company like this when they are working to bring us a better quality product for the LGBT community.
 
^ I understand but I have the full premium package. I get every premium channel except Here!. I would have to pay extra for Here! which i don't think is fair. It should be part of the premium package if anything. It's like they are going out of their way to make it extra for a gay channel.

Then that's an issue with your cable provider and not here!
 
HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, and the Starz channels all have the same parent company, whereas Here! has a different one. This explains why it isn't included in the package deals cable/satellite providers offer.

Here! also provides first-run/premieres like other premium channels, without commercial interrupts, which explains why it isn't included in with basic programming. And since you pay for it, you're also able to enjoy the program without censorship of the program.
