I looked for it last night! But no one seemed to have posted it as yet.
The trailer kicks ass! Now my Geek is "on!" Good catch B.

Nah not just for style, but the way he plays with peoples mind, knowing every weakness on spiderman, and the whole vicious look. Yeh but as far as spiderman villains go he is my fav
Really? I kind of got turned off at just how one-dimensional the former Venom was. "Ooh, I'll kill you for ruining me because I was a reporter who was too stupid to verify facts." But hey, to each his own. At least it's not bloody Morlun he's fighting.
Mac Gargan
Main article: Mac Gargan
Macdonald "Mac" Gargan was a former private investigator hired by J. Jonah Jameson to, at first, discover the connection between Peter Parker and Spider-Man, and later as a means to destroy Spider-Man. In this capacity, Gargan was used as a test subject for a process that would endow him with the useful characteristics of a scorpion.
Over the years, Gargan was one of the foes Spider-Man regularly fought from his rogues gallery. Although he would square off against other heroes, Gargan would always return to his fixation on Spider-man and Jameson.
Recently, Gargan has traded his Scorpion costume for the Venom symbiote.
Venom being one dimensinal!! Maybe in the beginning of his career but the guy has progressed to serious villianhood status!
although I'm sad to note that Eddie Brock is no longer venom.....I hate it when marvel decides to "shake things up!"
from wikipedia:
Long Live Venom!!

Well to be honest, he was just an OP version of Spidey himself. You know, "let's make him fearsome by making him immune to Spidey's Ass Sense". Kinda like Doomsday. I actually think that him trying to commit suicide was like, the hugest character development in him, which of course, is an opinion based on the fact that I don't follow Spider-Man as diligently as others do.
I might suggest that you read the Venom: Lethal Protector series for a whole new side of "Let's eat spiderman's brains" venom!
I think you might get a kick out of it!
