HI

OK. the browser I use is Firefox, and when I put in text into the search bar a list of past sites appear. now usually this is helpful, BUT because there are quite a few porn sites, it is embarrassing if I am wanting to ask someone to come onto my computer to help me with a technical problem, because if they use the search bar, which they will they will get an eyeful. So is there a way to disable that function?

Don't forget to clear your history too, if you don't want people to see the porn sites you visited.

If you invite guys you are attracted to for help with "technical problems" it could lead to something interesting.

Preferences - Privacy - Location Bar

(But if somebody wants to check your history they'll still see it. You could create a new profile, create a shortcut to that new profile on your desktop and another shortcut to your old profile somewhere else)
