How Do You Download Vids From Gayforit.com?

I tried out an old version of Hypercam years ago - just curious why you mention you won't have sound. I see the screenshot on Hypercam's main page shows a "Sound" tab, although the page does point out the software is not really for re-recording of other clips on screen.

I would agree capturing audio/video from on-screen is a last resort if you can't rip a file directly. CristianCantacuzino, you might also try SnagIt, similar concept of Hypercam and which has nice support for audio and video.
 
I may be confused by this question and perhaps my solution is obvious to everyone,
but That site works with Real Player.
If you have the newest version all you have to do is put your curser at the top of the video and a tab will appear that reads Download This Video, which you can save to a folder. Sometimes you have to open the video in a new window for it to work. Not all sites will allow this some of them block that feature but most, including Gayforit,do.
 
I tested a video on that site and was able to use Download Helper. It downloads the raw flv file so the quality isn't degraded. Its the best video downloader I've used.

I concur. In fact I realized this fact YEARS ago and refuse to install it on any of my pc's nor for those who I build pc's for.

If THEY want to install it after I've given them the pc, that's their problem.
 
I'm zombifying this thread to ask if anyone else is suddenly having tech problems with Gayforit.eu. Mozilla/Download Helper has always worked fine with that site until a few days ago (coinciding with the Spamhaus feud, btw).

Now, videos won't play (they begin, but then buffer and/or freeze up), nor will they download (again, they start to download but then just pause). I also get a high number of "video file not found" error messages when just browsing thru the vids.

Is anyone else having trouble or is it just me?

Yes I have had problems viewing vids on gayforit the past week or so. Just streaming them. One minute it will list a search which may have several parts then when I go back to the search page they are all gone, then a bit later the same search they all appear. As well as the file error notes, and files not found but they were there a few minutes earlier and it freezes up.
 
I'm not great with computers, or rather adding software or things like that and knowing how to use them correctly. My browser is Internet Explorer. Do I have to download Firefox and download helper to save x-tube videos that I enjoy watching the most?
 
--Gayforit is making more & more of its clips 'premium' only (of course a premium membership allows native downloading). I bought InternetDownLoad Manager (IDT) years ago: It downloads most sreaming sites (including non premium Gayforit) & is updated every few weeks (no charge for later versions).

--These days I'm happiest with Pornhub.com as a tubsite: Downloads are allowed with regular memberships (sign up required?). You'll have to live with ads - that's how tube sites support themselves (they may get paid for uploading 2-5 min clips for studios but not for the longer vids).

I discovered that Pornhub hides much of its porn in 'member collections' or playlists--searches often don't turn individual vids up.

--While I prefer paid memberships what do you do when your porn preference is rarely served by pay sites? Recently I read a webmaster thread bemoaning tube sites. One webmaster shot back: "My preference is hunky Japanese men & sad to say in this day in age of pornu-copia I'm forced to look to tube sites." No decent paid website addresses his niche. For me it's mutual jacking (& related stuff) - loving, kissing extended foreplay. After all these years we're still reduced to just quickie sex (race to anal), extreme sex & now bareback.

Looking at the date this thread was posted, I presume that you, Cristian, already have found yourself a downloader for your favorite videos. But to all others with the same question, I suggest iLivid. It's free and comes with several opportunities.
