Since the elections in which we Demorats are going to sweep both houses is heating up, I wanted to ask how all of ya see our fearless leader? I'm kinda inspired by that thread asking how we're viewed by the world as a nation...really, the question is, how do you see the man who speaks for us? Me, I wanna cry every time he opens his mouth but I'm too manly to do that...

(dammit...i misspelled misunderstood...i swear i'm smarter than bush!)

I find it usefull to describe poltics into four different quadrants, here is on average how each quandrant probally views Bush.

From the Conserative Side: You see Dubya is the perfect example of the Greek Tragic Hero. A person you are supposed to like but possess a tragic flaw which kills him. Bush's tragic flaw is his stubborness, he has a world view and he is trying to warp reality to it, even if reality doesn't want to be warped and fights back like a tiger.

From the Liberal and Progressive Side: I might like him as a person, but he screws everything up and makes lots of messes. If you don't like him as a person, its even worse :D

From the Prohibitionist Side: There Hero, sure he makes mistakes but he is on our side ;) They view the world in much the same way as Bush does, a reality to be warped, a world we need to make better for its naturally flawed.

I can't even listen to him when he's on TV (much futile screaming usually ensues); even reading his comments or speeches later usually makes me see red.

I don't think he's smart at all... he's got smart people working for him... and I don't agree with any of 'their' agenda.

I personally maintain a Dubya free household. His twangy voice and stupid statements make my blood pressure rise to dangerous levels. Thank god for the remote. I swear the man must be dyslexic. "I am the decider."

CA governor Arnold speaks better English, and he is from Austria. Fortunately for Dubya, the family had enough money to buy him his college degree.

I am seriously ashamed to have this appointed President as the spokesperson for my country.

The only reason I don't support impeachment is that Cheney is worse -- and then he could run for a term or two on his own.

There is NOTHING heroic about him. He will be remembered as the worst president the U.S. has known to date.

He needs to take public speaking classes because he can't speak. It's embarrassing to hear him constantly mispronouncing many words. I don't think the people around him are all that smart. They might be intelligent but definitely not smart. It's a shame that we have to endure him for another 2 years.](*,) He's definitely a dumbass.

he is a a noticeable idiot in a world awash in stupidity

that is quite an acomplishment on his part

I didn't vote for him the first time he stole the election.

I didn't vote for him the second time that he stole the election.

I want a President who doesn't take advantage of an American tragedy as an excuse to make himself a "war time" President.

I want a President who doesn't give contracts to his Vice President's former corporation to profit from feeding the soldiers and "rebuilding" the destroyed battle ground.

I want a President who has the cahones to say "enough is enough" and find a way to conclude our involvement in Iraq, and let them settle their own affairs.

Dubya isn't that man. He isn't misunderstood.....:(

ha, that's funny. I just don't see it happening.

theres' a lovely polling site i'm addicted to (link above) that has daily updates on races all across the country, everything from senate and house to governor...they have the republicans at this point in time losing 6 of their 55 seats...democrats with 48 seats (they need 51 for control) up from 45...3 are toss- ups...toss-ups usually break against the incumbent in elections like this one where people are so pissed not to mention the fact that the party in the white house almost always loses seats in congress during midterms...especially when it's so damn despised... almost everyone agrees that the house will go democratic since all they need to gain is 15 seats out of the 435 that are up for grabs...i'm gonna stay optimistic and hope for a republican bloodbath...

I would happily use adjectives that haven't even been invented yet to convey my absolute contempt for this bastard.
