I started a diet and exercise routine. I just finished my first 4 miles :D, Do you guys think 4 miles is enough? It takes me 1 hour and 45 minutes at 2.5 m.p.h. I am so tired but excited! :D I cant wait to start losing weight! :D :D :D

wow! I get out of breathe doing about 2 miles hehehe i dont do it often.

woohoo you! :D i hope your stretching properly though...ooooo and try swimming too! makes a good combo with running

3rd day, getting SORE, majorly feeling my body trying to adjust to the 4 miles! Im not going to check the scale for atleast 2 weeks so I wont get discouraged! Thanks guys!!

-Matthew

That's wonderful. Stick with it and in time you will increase your distance.

word of advice?....skip the scales!

never judge weight loss by the number on the scale, muscle weighs more than fat so you might find the numbers going up the more you work out!

buy a pair of jeans or something in the size you wanna be, then every 2 weeks, try them on :D

^^^ oh, I like that suggestion. True.... if you build muscle, you won't necessarily see a drop in weight. If you have a lot of fat, well, then you should still lose weight.

hehehe well thats how us girls do it, because scales are...of course.....the enemy.

you should always aim for a specific clothes size, not a weight, you just end up as a neurotic, calorie counting compulsive if you trust the little numbers on the scale
