I'd probably my straight best friend is probably more like a 9.5 cuz I couldn't decide if he was a 9 or 10. The man is simply beautiful, which I've actually told him once before...lol.

To answer your question, yes, I lust after most of my closest friends, and the friendship originally grew from my attraction before i approached them. I guess im attracted to str8 guys or ones I sense may be closeted. I find I have no interest in those I am quite sure are gay. Out of a dozen or so crushes I was right on two (they're bi). eh, my best straight male friend is... well, I have 3 people in my immediate group of friends; I guess one could be called my best friend of the three, but he's asian and I've never been physically attracted to asians so... just friends, don't really care.

One of my best buddies in grad school is probably a 7 in terms of appearance. He looks like a dirty-blonde version of Finn from Glee with the same height, but blue eyes. However, what makes him a 10 is his personality. He has a strangely magnetic personality perhaps due to his confidence about his goofy awkwardness. He's a super polite and kind-hearted jokester who's also quite nerdy. Whenever I respond to his semi-offensive jokes targeted at me with a fake evil-stare, he always sheepishly says "sorry" and cheekily smiles, which always makes me go "awww" in my head (which is what I feel whenever my dog whimpers and lies on the floor every time I yell at him when he does something wrong. My best friend would have to be a 7, tops. He is very much not my type either, so I have never lusted after him but the same is not true for other friends who I would rank lower. It's mostly because he's not my type. I love him like a brother but he has this huuuuge overwhelming aura of... false bravado about him. It constantly crosses over into arrogance when he's around strangers. Maybe if I were a girl I would be into his "confidence/cockiness" but that's the total opposite of what I like in guys. I want a plateful of modesty and bashfulness with a side of confidence, not a platter of mundane, delusional brazenness.

Physically, he's wayyyyyyyyy too hairy for someone his age. He's 20 and his girlfriend has told me she sometimes grabs on to his backhair while doing the deed haha. NOT ATTRACTIVE AT ALL
