How long before you see or date someone before you become boyfriends? I'm actually seeing someone that I like and vice versa but I've never been the one to ask someone to be my boyfriend and have always been scared of rejection (for that same reason lol!)

I have been seeing 'W' for 2 weeks and enjoy his company and really like him. As I am writing this --he calls me that he's out of work. How funny! ..|

How about u guys?

It depends on the people involved,

I met my honey in 1984 when I was 18 he was 24, I was with girl friend at time and was not gay and never been with guy or thought about it before that.

But I spent 1 night with him and he introduced me to hot man sex and I never left his place and am gay now.

We have been together for 25+ yrs now and I could not be w/o him. I never went back to women and dont plan on it. He made me see something that I thought I would never know.

And he is the kindest , most giving person who always thinks on me before him self. Not to mention his is very well off, but that happened well after we met, and no it's not about money cus I loved him before he got the money.

So my answer is 24hrs...

Depends on your terminology, too. "Dating" doesn't imply monogamy to me, but "boyfriend" does.
 
That's always something the couple decides on together when it just feels right. It can take a few weeks, months or even days. . .it depends.
 
How about if you know it's not the right moment to be with someone because they have too much on their plate and you know about it within weekes of you just knowing the person. For example, my friend has financial situations to the point that when we're together he's stressed out--he also has his nephew living with him to try to help him out but his nephew is about to get laid off. I don't think I can get into a relationship with someone in that situation. I will def. be his friend and be there with whatever I can help out.

What do u guys think? What would you guys do? I did tell him we should just stay friends b/c of all of this and he was like 'I really like you but I understand'.
 
Sup latin coffee let me start by saying your fuckin hot bro!! But yeah just wait. If he is the kind of guy you could see yourself with let him get his things together and then maybe then you can get to know each other more. I hope it all works out. Keep up the good looks ;)
 
Thanks MexiDude! I'm actually taking things slow and he told me last night that he is developing great feelings for me and that he is scared of being left high and dry like before. I assured him that I have never done that to anyone and that it has been done to me.
