David:

Being a work-a-holic man NOT be the best thing for your relationship....I think you should listen to your man and NOT leave him home alone too much else he might stray from being bored and staying by himself.....even the best ones might let it happen.

I know money might be important to you; but is that relationship also important to you as well...

I'd think about my priorities...

I think 75 is too much. I am suppossed to work 31 hours a week but I usually always end up doing more. Plus I do sleepovers as well.

I normally do 45 hours a week, but sometimes I require work overtime, it depends on the amount of work, and the pressure from boss :grrr: This week, I have done around 52 hours, and don't even get paid for overtime!

I do 45 hours a week, 5 of which is 'compulsory' overtime. I think 75 hours is way too much. At that point you have to ask "Do I want my boyfriend or do I wish to continue working these hours?" You simply cannot have both. It is deeply unfair to your bf to think you can....

I work 35 hours a week, but employed on a part time basis if that makes sence, but my boss or rather the owner of the place i work is a aragant bully who treets his staff like shit and pays us very little for what we do so im trying to cut down and get a new job.

i'd say 75 is a bit much, i usually do 50-60, and i think that's a lot but i also hate my job

when i lasted worked for a company i used to work 7 days a week 14 hours a day that was in 1987 now i do not work for anyone and will not work for a company again and have not worked since 1987

35-40 with Starbucks, 10+ with the Reserves (volunteer, and last week it was over 30), and then school for 14 hours a week.

My bf says I work way too much!!

He's right. I worked those kinds of hours until I reached my mid-thirties and finally realized that life is way too short to spend so much of it at a desk, or in airports, or wherever else somebody wanted me to be for a few $$s.

I've since recognized a harsh reality of life: people get sick, people die unexpectedly, and none of us know how long we have to live. The time to live isn't someday in the future when your wealth has been amassed, it is right now - today. In reality, right now is all you have for sure so you ought to make the best of it.

These days I work a 40 hour week and earn a six-figure income ... and even that seems like too much time @ work!

By the way ... what do you do that calls for an 80-hour work week ?

When I am working I usally average somewhere between 50 to 70 hours a week. I work on contracts and sometimes I can have months off between contracts. Which can be nice!

I work 40 hr's a week. By Friday if I have worked more than 8 hr's a day I have to leave work when my 40 hours is up.

35 hours a week. Give and take a few hours. Life is not about work.

I'm scheduled for 3 twelve hour shifts a week...
Because of the nursing shortage I can work all the overtime I want..normally pick up at lest one more shift a week

Scheduled 50 hours a week. Sometimes it's a bit more if there is a need.
