Due to putting all my music on my iPod my iTunes currently has 4,000 songs but my iPod has over 16,000 songs.

I use MediaMonkey and, apparently, I have 100,888 music files in my library ... 338 days of continuous listening. #-o

Mind you I have a 1TB drive full of music and only some of it is in my MediaMonkey library. :help:

I have a noob question.
Where do you get all the music from? Is it from the internet?
When I got into Itunes, I was putting one cd after another cd to rip the songs and I thought "someone did this for a thousand songs?"

I dont even listen to the music I put on Itunes. Its about the apps and porn for me

I've stopped using torrents and I started using Google, been able to find the music I want with that.

I am at 5550 songs and 15.6 days worth of listening. Stuff gets added and deleted from time-to-time but it has been a net gain mostly.

I downloaded some of mine when I was a broke college student and couldn't afford to buy anything, but now I generally buy from itunes.

Nope. I've never downloaded music from the Net. I don't even have a player.

ditto -

another piece of techology I don't have (or need)......

now I see that the CD's seem to be going the way of the Cassette tapes - disappearing from the stores because of the "new" technology - which is no lonr even new -- i know.

Strawberries -- gone
Coconuts -- gone
FYE - limited selection

can get some stuff on Amazon and a couple other websites I suppose.

meh......

I have 701 songs on my iTunes which I listen to constantly and am always adding to my collection. Love music and it's the backdrop of my life. I remember times, places and things by the music that was playing.

Uploaded a lot from CDs but have purchased a lot from iTunes and most recently from Amazon since they're usually cheaper.

7,199 songs. My 16GB Zune can't fit all of them, sadly. Only the really good stuff.

1,580 songs.

Mostly Blue October (their entire catalog), Paul Simon (his entire catalog), Broadway plays, and opera pieces.
