I had unprotected oral sex the other day and did not ejaculate.

However, within hours the end of my penis was slightly painful/burning. Now I'm paranoid I have some horrible STD though I know that just getting sucked off, without even cumming, is unlikely to pass stuff.

How long does it usually take?

Also, I forgot to add: at one point I did rub some pre-cum from him on the tip of my penis. I'm not sure if that can pass STDs or not.

I did actually get condoms but they wouldn't fit. It's been a long time since I was with anybody and I forgot about that issue since my last bf and I were monogamous and didn't use condoms for years.

I'm so illiterate when it comes to sex. I know a condom makes catching diseases unlikely, but it is still possible to catch it through the condom, right?
 
Symptoms after a few hours would be unusual.

A case of chlamydia or a conventional urinary tract infection would not be unusual.

If it persists, make an appointment with your doctor.

through the condom? no ... you can't catch something "through" it, unless it is damaged/broken.

but genital warts for example only need skin contact - and that could happen "outside" of the area that is covered by the condom
 
Thanks guys. Is it true that you should wait a month before getting tested since STDs dont show up immediately?

Depends on the STD.

Gonorrhea and chlamydia can be tested at 1 week. The testing time for syphilis, HIV, herpes and hepatitis are longer.

Since gonorrhea and chlamydia are the more common cause of the symptoms that you describe, you can be tested after 1 week.
 
Thank you. It's been..4 days, I guess. I called Friday and the Health Department (the only place I can get tested) said they couldn't get me in until December 11th. I asked why and they said they were backed up but it takes a month for incubation anyway.

This is going to be a nerve-wracking month! :(
 
Unless cost is an issue for you, you can go to Planned Parenthood (many locations have a LGBT testing program) or a private lab (such as AnyLabTestNow which has locations in Indiana)
 
Yeah, money is a problem but it's also transportation. I'm disabled and can't get to a lot of those places reliably.
