Does anyone have any ideas on how I could export a calendar (Outlook 2003 on XP) from my work PC to an Iphone. It would really only need to be 1 directional (although full synching would be nice).

The problem is that I can't install iTunes or any other program that requires admin rights on the PC.

A migration to Office 2007 and Vista is imminent, so maybe there's a solution there?

You can't get calendars onto the phone - without manually typing everything in yourself - without iTunes. That's just how it works, that's the syncing tool that the phone is designed to work with.

I can think of at least one way of doing it that works, but it's a bit clumsy and I am hoping for something a bit more elegant from you guys.

Additional info: I also have a Mac (Snow Leopard) as well as a PC with XP on it at home, where naturally I have the admin rights.... but it's the calendar from work that I'd like to get onto the iPhone.

try to export it, and transfer it to a machine where you have admin rights ..

That's what I do now. I export it, mail it to myself and then import it to Outlook on my PC at home and then via Mobile.Me it gets integrated into my Mac and iPhone. It's a bit clumsy though. I'm trying to think up something more automatic.

do the newer outlook versions support synchronization with an online calendar? and then sync that one with that mobile me thing ;)

I think linking to something like Google Calendars would be worse, from a corporate security point of view, but there's hope on the horizon somewhere. It seems now that my employer is not completely trailing edge. Apparently the new (sic) Vista machines will have OneBridge Mobile Groupware on it, with iPhone support.

That is once we get them, but the Vista rollout has been delayed for an undetermined time. Maybe they're waiting for Windows 8 to come out first

Can you not email your calendar to yourself and then select it through the iPhones email app and see if it will install? I've never done it, but you could try, just make sure it's in an iCal format (.ics)

^^ That's what I do now, but I always need to remember to do it and it's a drag. I'd like it if it just happened automatically like if does on my Mac, Macbook and iPhone.

Cheers for the response Andrew :-)

Does your office use Exchange? The iPhone can sync automatically with Exchange. I have a personal Exchange account, and I'm in complete sync at all times.
