How to hit your own prostate?

I've been (lightly) trying out some self fingering to try and see if I can get to my prostate and feel what that's like. So far, I haven't been able to find it. To be honest, I haven't tried that many times since I'm so OCD about being clean when I'm doing it, and it's such a pain to get thoroughly scrubbed... but I get my finger all the way up in there and I can never find anything that fits the description of the prostate. And I haven't really gotten any strong feelings poking around in there, other than the feeling of wanting to take a crap, haha. So guys, any advice on how/where to find my prostate, and how to make it feel good?

You don't need to go all the way up there. The prostate is not that far away. Maybe just two inches inside, and towards your belly. If you're using your finger (which will suffice) you need to curve it like a hook.

I never paid much attention to its shape to realize if I have found it or not, but people say it feels like a little walnut. I don't know. I knew I found it because it caused an amazing sensation and made me cum after a few seconds of rubbing it LOL

Q. Where it is?

If you draw a line from your anus to your public bone, it would cross the prostate. So, it helps to find your pubic bone first and think of pointing your finger in that direction- like you're going to rub your finger on the underside of the pubic bone.

Q. How far in is it?

Most guys can just barely reach it with the tip of their index or middle fingers. It's a little awkward to reach just because of the angle of the hand and the depth of the anal cleft. It's often easier to use a butt plug or anal stimulator for prostate massage during masturbation. Or get a friend to lend a helping hand.


Q. What does the prostate feel like?

Put your tongue between your teeth on the side of your mouth. Now, take the tip of your finger and rub through your cheek to feel the tip of your tongue. That is pretty close to what a healthy prostate feels like. It's a bump that is firm but because the rectum is on top of it, it will feel like there's something soft on top of the hard bump.


Q. What does it feel like when I find it?

It normally feels good. You may feel a sensation of pleasure that seems to come from your anus or the bottom of your scrotum. Usually an orgasm will feel more intense if you are massaging your prostate.

Try a prostate massager. They work VERY well. And easier than a finger. And fairly inexpensive.

Most guys (whether they are gay or straight) enjoy prostate simulation during sex. It's more likely that your partners weren't hitting the spot.

With conventional fucking, it's not as easy to focus specifically on the prostate. A finger or an anal stimulator like the Aneros is more likely to hit the spot.

An effective position to stimulate it seems to be sitting on your partner and pull your body backwards. Then, his penis is in the right position to stimulate the pelvic area, instead of just the rectum.
