How to Lose 13-17 pounds in 2 months?

my height is about 5.7 ft and now my weight is 152 lbs...
I want to lose 13-17 pounds in 2 months..I want to look good on my summer vacation and losing this belly...
can you tell me what should I eat and avoid?I dont do gym a lot and I'm not really into..prefer exercise at home like push ups, sit up and also do some street dance

should I avoiding carbs? because we eat rice in our country as the main course
 
Fill yourself with fiber and protein. After you eat wait to get full, it takes about 20 minutes to feel satisfied after eating. I don't follow a specific diet, but my main thing is to avoid sugar and refined carbs. For example at breakfast I have oatmeal made with unsweeteened soymilk topped with frozen blueberries and I'll have a spoonful of peanut butter. The fiber from the oats and the protein makes you feel fuller longer.

I don't know what type of rice you eat, but rice is low in calories, but not terribly filling. You could try using brown rice instead of white, which has slightly more fiber and nutrition.

13-17 lbs is possible.
No reason to go to the gym.You should try running, or other types of cardio work. Dancing is good i guess.
Doing pushups and situps doesnt do much if you want to loose weight over such a short period of time.

You could avoid white rice if possible, and eat primarily complex carbs (wholegrain breads, oats, muesli and brown rice.). Eating a little less than you burn is the key really. Try to make a list of what you eat on a normal day and post it here.;)

It should be fairly easy to achieve your goal, but you need to burn it off. You should get your heart rate up to about 150 bpm for more than 30 minutes every day. If you can do that with street dancing, then ok... otherwise try jogging, bicycling or stair climbing.
 
Just so you know, 5'7 and 152lbs is okay. If you lose a lot of weight, you'll just be a stick with some skin and fat. If I were you, I'd start building muscle as well. However, since you want to be in tip-top shape for the vacation, I'll give you what has worked for me (as given to me by a personal trainer friend of mine).

The best advice I can give you to lose as much weight as safely possible is this:

1) Diet- 4 weeks of strict low-carbing. Eggs for breakfast, meat and vegetables for lunch/dinner, string cheese and almonds for snacks. No bread, rice, fruits, and high-carb vegetables. After 4 weeks, only add carbs right after your workout. So, about an 30min after you exercised, you can eat fruits, bread, rice, etc. For other times, continue low-carbing. Also, since you'll initially lose water weight first, make sure you're drinking a hella lot of water.


2) Exercise--Up your cardio. Losing fat is about burning more calories then you eat. You could just jog/run for 30min three times a week. But the best cardio to burn fat fast is to do intervals. Depending on your level of fitness, try this:

Warm-up (5 min) - light, easy jog

Sprint for 15-30 sec - as fast as possible
Easy jog for 1 minute

Repeat the spring/jog 3-5 more times. It should only take about 15 minutes all together.

Lifting weights bumps up your metabolism much better than cardio, but since you don't want to go to the gym, I wont' bother posting fat-loss training routines.

Give this a try. I'm pretty sure you'll see a noticeable improvement after the first 4 weeks.

well, normally I eat white rice for lunch and dinner sometimes i eat on the midnite when I got hungry..maybe I gained too much weight because I snacking a lot at night...
