I've had this annoying fissure off and on for about the last three months. About the time it starts to heal and I can't feel it anymore it wants to break open again. Squatting over a mirror I can clearly see it tonight and it has been giving me some problems lately. I try to be as clean as possible yet not scrub my ass which would only irritate it more. I'm not going to see a doctor over this either. Its like a paper cut only its on my ass, its just annoying and sometimes there is a little pain/discomfort. Would some kind of ointment like Neosporen maybe get rid of this thing? I'm not about to try hydrogen peroxide although it would probably do the trick with enough applications. Ideas?

Mouth wash would burn like hell. See a doctor. Try hot baths pat and air dry. Lube the area with Preparation H or something like it to soothe the area and protect it from shit when you dump. Keep you stool soft by drinking prune juice until it heals.

I'd try to eat more fiber for a while. Combined with the above advice you should be fine.

You dont need prepH cuz it's probably not inflamed. Use Carmex, Blistex DCT or LipMedex. The ones in the jar. Also, definitely eat more fiber to make your stool a lot softer and easier to pass.

You've got to see a doctor about this. I've had two bouts with fissures. The first required surgery (which I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy), but the second healed with Peranex HC (http://www.prescribingreference.com/news/showNews/which/Peranex).

Nothing OTC is truly going to heal it, especially if this has been going on for months. Warm soaking baths will help as will fiber, but you need medical attention.

After two weeks of using the cream my fissure appears to have healed sufficiently. I had anal sex and the usual pain or tear feeling didnt occur, there was no blood and my anus hasnt hurt and spasmed as it did in the past after sex.

I'd recommend any bottom who is feeling depressed about their inability to have sex to try the wheatgrass cream. And no I dont have any association with the manufacturer, just keen to help my fellow gay bottoms.
