Speechless. Umm, have you asked the hospital who his superior is or if they have a complaint line?

recently, I went to a doctor to treat a genital wart. I was desperate to get it resolved, and since I don't have health insurance, this was the best option financially (though it wasn't free). Looking at things in retrospect, I should have been more leery of the doctor's practices, but I didn't have enough expertise in medical/office procedures to fully comprehend his doings. Anyway, here's what happened:
- the doctor proposed a treatment procedure before examining me
- when he did examine me, it was without gloves
- after the initial "exam," the receptionist pressured me into paying 50% of the treatment procedure, even though I had only seen the doctor for 5 minutes
- on the day of treatment, the doctor jabbed himself with the needle while drawing anesthetic from a vile - enough to draw blood. At this point, I wanted to get up and run, but I was arrested under some pathological subordination to authority. And yes, he did use this needle on me, though it didn't seem that there was any blood on it.
- after the procedure, it seemed that he didn't remove the wart at all but rather cut a small incision on its side
- he left the room without giving me further instructions, and before I could put my clothes on.
As I said, everything about this situation wreaked of shadiness, but I was too weak to stand up for myself, and I feel I put myself in danger in the process. Is there recourse I can take against this doctor? Not to get my money back, but so that he doesn't do this to other patients?

Stop blaming him, like he's done anything wrong. It's not productive and isn't going to benefit him. The only mistake he made was trusting an incompetent doctor. Who hasn't? Also, it's "sterile", not "sterol".
Definitely report this. Since you were pricked with a used needle, you'll need to be tested for HIV, hepatitis and any other bloodborne illnesses.
Are you finished?
