Dear members, before I begin, I would like to thank you guys for the advices given here. it has helped me alot in my personal problems.

However, there is anther thing. A friend of mine is going to celebrate his birthday soon, and we have not spoken to in months, 5 months to be exact. All because of some immature game and Friendster.

Im going to spare you the details, but I'm just asking, do all gay guys want only sex in a relationship? This 'friend' of mine thinks that I'm that ind of guy, and I can seriously say I'm not.

I would rather see him laugh silently when i hold his hands in the cinema, whisper 'i love you's' into his ears when we're alone and him reacting by biting his lips, hug him tightly from behind when he's playing his PS2 console, stuff like that.

How can i convince him that I dont care about sex with him, but only to be with him is great eough. Hs prevous ex were all pro-sex, and he seem to think that all gay gus are like that, so how do I change his mind about me?

Every relationship is different. A loving relationship involves talking to one another to work out differences. It sounds like the both of you have not sat down and really talked about this problem between you.

It also sounds like your guy is fixated on his ex, being pro-sexed. You need to tell him that your not his ex, and that he needs to move on.

You can only lead by example. If he never gets it, he'll never get it.

Well if a guy were to hold my hand and whisper 'I love you' in to my ear, then bit my on the lip and he hugged me tightly from behind I'd certaily take that as a signal that he wanted to be with me sexually.
Seems to me your are teasing this guy man...
And if you dont' want to be with him sexually then cut that out. Just be his friend, talk to him about stuff but don't be tempting him with your playful sexual stuff.
You are probably driving this poor guy crazy.
You cannot convice him you don't want to have sex with him if you continue to give him those sorts of signals.

I think he meant that he'd rather do those small sign of affection, rather than doing nasty lascivious things. Holding his hand, telling him softly that he loves him, cuddling with him...not always signals that someone wants to have rollicking sex with someone. I don't think he has to worry about sending the wrong signal.

The lip biting though...that one I don't know about.

Well, his name IS "ToyWifMe". :)

How do you change his mind? You can't. If he chooses to believe something, you can present your side, but it's up to him whether to believe it or not. Just send him a "happy birthday - thinking of you" card, and leave it at that.

Thanks for all the help guys. It really opened my eyes to this 'thing' we have. I'm not even sure if i can call it a relationship, but we're ok now.
