Hello everyone. It's been 84 years since I posted but I figured I'd log in and seek guidance...

I’m painfully aware (pun intended) that I likely have a fissure.

I met up with this guy last Friday and he penetrated me roughly 13 times during the course of the weekend (Friday evening to Sunday morning). Yes, “roughly” was a deliberate word choice instead of saying “approximately” because he penetrated me with force and brutality. And without lube other than a bit of spit. All part of the domination scenario we had going on, but in retrospect: that was foolish.

I’ve had post-penetration pain before, but that usually lasts a day at the most. Two if he really went at it and I hadn't had any in a while. This, however... Well this is lasting longer than I care for. I’m guessing I now have a fissure because I’m constipated and passing even the littlest of stool---or having a movement without anything coming out---is excruciating agony. Occasionally there’s even blood. In fact the only time I’ve ever had the same level of pain dates back to the surgical removal of an anal skin tag.

I’m drinking plenty of fluids and taking stool softeners but that’s not helping me much in terms of my output. Hell, I'm passing even less gas than normal (if at all) which is probably the only benefit to all of this (yes I'm joking). I started psyllium fiber today in case it would prove beneficial tomorrow, and even braved a gentle water enema to see if that could produce some results (a minute amount of warm water did feel soothing even if nothing much was actually dislodged). I’ve held out on laxatives in case forcing bowel movements would aggravate things, but at this point… should I brave the pain if it means empty bowels?

I’m loathe to go see a doctor about this if I can avoid it, but the pain doesn’t seem to be easing/abating and neither is the constipation. I know each body is different and heals at its own rate, but at what point should I really worry if these symptoms don’t seem to wane? Is a few days/a week normal? Or should I be worried about something other than a fissure?

Any advice would be thoroughly appreciated.

Pain for more than a few days is already a bad warning sign. Blood mixed with the pain, as well as the other symptoms is an incredibly bad sign. While I understand you may be loathe to go to the doctor you honestly should. You performed actions that could very well have caused tearing inside your rectum, hence the continuing blood and pain. Needless to say that can cause incredibly dangerous complications.

I have one myself that gets aggravated every so often I don't do the psyllium fiber I do benefiber, Also when things get really painful I will use preparation H cream on my finger where I can feel the fissure if it is really bad through the day I will alternate between regular Preparation H and Preparation H with Lidocaine, Also cleansing after a BM with a wet wipe is So so Helpful! Also depending on your pain tolerance I take up to 800 Mg Ibuprofen 3x a day! But consult with a Dr or at the very least a pharmacist! Currently I'm on my regimen as I did some stupid ass play on Monday and literally tore my shitter up! And remember sex play without lube is always a no no not only will you get a fissure but you also greatly increase tour risk of contracting HIV!

Given the complexity of the symptoms, you do need to see your doctor. You may need a consult from a colorectal specialist.

You don't have to provide details about how you got to this condition. You can just report your symptoms and have the physician do an exam to assess what is going on back there.

You may want to use a stool softener in the meantime to reduce the chance of additional damage.

Took ShadowCat's advice and bought a plethora of Preparation H products to help, but that ultimately isn't doing much. I did supplement my diet with stool softeners and Metamucil to help pass anything. I was Type 1 on the Bristol scale but then finally managed to get my first real bowel movement last Thursday. From then on I've been alternating between being able to pass things (with pain) to that feeling of having to pass something (with pain) but still being Type 1. In those cases the most I can manage--if anything--is a rabbit pellet.

Blood is still an issue, but typically when constipated.

Given things are still painful (though nowhere near as they were last week when I wanted to die on the toilet bowl), I managed to get an appointment with a nurse practitioner at my local clinic.

She felt some major swelling and assumes it's a huge internal tear/fissure so she's prescribed some suppository Proctosedyl, Sitz baths, some softner/laxatives so I have zero hard stools, and made a request for a GI specialist at the hospital. She thinks it'll take a week or two anyway before they can see me so I'll either be better by then and can cancel or attend if I'm still no better.

Fingers crossed...

And some antibiotics. She ended up giving me a call after I'd left saying she felt it'd be better if I had that too.

Good- based upon your symptoms, I'm glad you had a provider do a physical exam to assess the extent of the damage. The constipation is just re-injuring the area, so getting your stools softened to reduce pressure and straining will hopefully allow it to heal without surgical intervention.

Sorry for my advice I didn't realize just how bad yours was, mine is by comparison pretty minor so I was going off my own experience! I am glad you are getting it under control!
