I came out to my best friend

About two weeks ago I came out as bi to my best friend. I consider him my brother. I was worried how he would take it, as we’ve been best friends going on 3 years now and he’s my roommate in college. But he took it really well. We call each other a fag as a joke (I know it’s offensive to some people, but we do it as a joke and only around our friends). I was worried because I came out he’d stop. He told me he wouldn’t unless I was offended. Me coming out hasn’t changed anything, we’re still as close as we’ve been. Just wanted to share 😊
 
You know what this means, don't you? It means he's a true friend.

My bestfriend & I have been as close as possible for over 5 years now since I came out to him. He knows how I feel & that I have a crush on him. We grew up together & I came out to him over 5 years ago & absolutely nothing has changed between us! It's a good feeling to know that they still love us. In fact I finally had the gut to tell him that I would love to get to play with him... Although he is ok with me having the hots for him I just won't get to go there with him. That's ok though because I would die without him in my life.
 
Enjoy everything about each other. It is wonderful to let your guard down. Together we are excellent. Good on you both.
 
The only one I've told is my best friend and his reaction was "that's not surprising." It's nice to have true, real friends.
