Gerry and Sylvia Anderson created truly unique children's programming that found quite a following with adults.
Joe 90 is one of their series that is often overlooked by fans, yet I love the more natural looking characters and improved motion controls.

Some guys think I'm crazy for posting this stuff, but the Anderson's used such well written stories that it makes me wonder why modern kid's shows are so poorly constructed.

Even the music used in the Anderson's various series was so good some were release as records.
I even remember when Barry Gray's theme for "Fireball XL5" made it onto regular radio airplay:
