You know, there was a time when Sony could do no wrong. Lately it's been one misstep after another with them.
 
There's not much of anything Sony can get right lately. Every since the PS3 was announced, nothing but fuck ups, on top of fuck ups. Kinda sad. That's why I'm a Wii man now! December 17th! Here I come!!
 
As pointless and frankly crap as it may be, it's still got people talking about it. Publicity stunts are about controversy. Look at their Jesus Christ ad campaign which barely saw the light of day but made international news. (His crown of thorns had the button shapes on it for those who haven't seen it).
 
Not a great ad, but I will probably still buy a PS3, they look pretty good, and I was more than happy with the PS2. Just let the price drop a bit first
 
Sony fucked themselves over this round of the Next Gen consoles.
 
To me, the only good new system is the Wii... the PS2 and XBox were both inovative... the PS2 was a good upgrade to the PSX... better graphics and whatnot. Now the new Gen counsels are crap to me... the XBox 360 was released way to early for there to be any hype over it, and the PS3 just has better graphics, wireless controllers (which you can get for the PS2 anyway) and Blueray, which is a retarded idea. Same with the 360, just better graphics and wireless controllers... weee. Or should I say Wii? The Wii's really good in my opinion. Inovative controllers, good games, online game buying straight to the internal memory of the system. The other systems only have new design for them... Yay, they stand up and that's the only way they can be set up. Sleeker designs, woopidy doo. I'm sorry, but this generation in general is disappointing with the exception of the Wii.
 
The problem with sony is that they haven't seen through that old adage that advertisers use to make their job easier - "Any advertising is good advertising." No it isn't!

Bad advertising can destroy a company!

I agree, what the fuck is that shit!? That has to be one of the worst advertisements I've ever seen and is plain old creepy. I think it would turn away more people from buying a PS3, especially those who are on the fence in considering what system to buy.

You'd think they would conduct market/ad research on their commecials and how people would perceive their ads. Ugh. They should fire whoever has been doing their ad campaigns lately.
