On the Prowl
Work has been stressful, but funny at the same time recently, if that can be possible. We have had 2 people leave in the last two months, one in August (who worked for the bank for 13 years) , and one in September (who was with the bank for 3 years). You don't realise how much someone does until they are gone. I thought I knew how to do a lot if things here at the bank (since I have been here for 4 years, and am the only one left who has been here longer than a year), but now I see that there are a lot of things I don't know, and that upsets me. I am learning a lot, but the support I need is not there, because everyone is basically new. I can't delegate things because I am the only one who can do them, and there is no point in showing someone, because they will probably quit soon. The bank has very high turnover, in the recent year, and it boils down to one thing, PAY! The do not pay well. You'd think that with so many people leaving, they would realise this, but I guess that would take common sense. Oh, well I'll end my Dollar Bank rant for now!!!
