I found a lump on my right testicle...

And I'm worried.I've been having trouble with pain there,it seemed like whenever I wore tight boxers,I would hurt my right testicle.I have this issue for like a year,suddenly,tight underwear is not for me.And last night,while I was checking my testicles,I was surprised to find a little lump...it's painless,though,my testicle hurts.Guess what,I wore tight boxers again yesterday.I guess I should get it checked out but I'm worried that it might be ...you know...the big C.Oh,and I'm 21.

Might be .. or might be not. You've good chances that even if it is the big C, it is still early enough to be easily treated. That means if you go to the doc NOW. Personally I would have gone as soon as I noted the pain, but at least you checked yourself out. Maybe it's also totally harmless, but only the doc can tell you this. You can worry and wonder .. or you can get this resolved. Don't hesitate

A lump on the testicle could also be a normal variant of a lumpy epididymis, a tube that lies on the testicle itself or a cyst that has formed on the epididymis.

If the lump is in the scrotum, depending on the size and texture, it could be hydrocele, a cyst filled with fluid but if it was situated on scrotal skin, it could be just a bump (pimple or ingrown hair).


Hopefully this helps ease some of your fears.

Testicular cancer has one of the highest cure rates of all cancers. But only if caught early! Unfortunately it's also one of the fastest spreading. So it's critical that it be looked at immediately. Never wait on this sort of thing.

I had the same thing a few years back and totally went into panic mode! It ended up being nothing more than a varicose vein, typically brought on by stress my doctor said, but I made a mad rush to see them nonetheless! It was a little tender to the touch, but went away.
Please keep us posted on what you find out...

Yeah,I've been to the doctor and he said I have and epididymal cyst...he found it weird that my testicle hangs so low,compared to the other>.>He just gave me something for the pain.But I'm not convinced and I'm going to another doctor for a second opinion.Isn't an epididymal cyst separate from the testicle?That's what bugs me...the lump seems to be on the testicle,though...I'm not 100% convinced if it's on my testicle or separate...it's hard to distinguish.I tried to explain to my doctor but it was like he was determined to prove me wrong>.>

you should definitely go see another doctor, a second doctor's opinion would help a lot.if the second doctor tells you the same thing then probably both of them are right, don't be very worried about it just be worried enough to go and check it soon.
