I am looking for that useful thread that Noelie had posted about lots of useful tricks on windows vista. Can you remember which one it is, and could it be made sticky?

I was wondering if the mods could make it sticky, because I think it is very useful.
 
i think it's fine for a sticky, i'll check with corny since i'm still new as a mod for this forum. i'll do a search and see if there is a similar thread for Windows XP, maybe they could be merged and stickied. i say that because while the tips are probably excellent for vista, there are probably more folks who have XP at this point.
 
to prevent any other-os/company-fanbois from complaining, i think that we should make a "useful threads" sticky where we can link to threads like this one, maybe to some of the other (then ex-)stickies and other threads with "FAQ" of this forum ("how do i play rar files ;) ).
what do you think?
 
You mean like a "FAQ" repository? One sticky with links? Sounds good to me. I've seen a lot of repeats of the years.
