I watched it for Scott & Kyle. (I've also noted that Tyler Labine portrays a psychiatrist (?) on some medical drama that I don't watch.

Another smart move for Gosling.

He has successfully worked to escape typecasting. He's played sweet hunks and angsty teens and a range of leads. Whether this flops or floats, he'll rack up creds for playing the silly role, and it will be part of his portfolio of characters, an overt self-derision.

And, at 41 to play what is obviously a doll in his late teens or early 20's, washboard abs and all, he's holding on to his rank.

Good for him!
