I need music
I love modern design. Especially when designers and architects take an old run down building and renovate it. The contrast of the old, industrial elements, with the sleek modern work is really inspiring to me. When they open up a space and make it feel large an airy instead of closed in and dusty.
But there's a problem, the light and airy environment makes the office area where I work very noisy. Extremely so! It doesn't help the fact that I'm sitting in between the Technical Support Team and the training team! I cannot think! It feels like a hen house!
So now, the guy who occasionally listened to music when driving needs music. I've got my headphones, but my music selection is very limited. The last CD I bought was about 2 years ago, and I usually buy 1 CD every two years or so!
Well that's not true, I bought a CD a few weeks ago and it’s great! But I desperately need more!
A friend of mine got me some Ella Fitzgerald, and I've found that this kind of music works best. It keeps the noise down and it’s not too distracting. I don't think my old Metallica and Guns & Roses albums will work!
So I hope someone answer my cry for help, because I really need some music!
Any recommendations and ideas will be greatly appreciated!
