i only fall for straight guys?

Wow I have the same problem, the way I deal with it is. I try not to get to close at first I try to give it time then let things fall into place and if it doesn't work out then it wasn't meant to be.
 
its a bit of wanting what you cant have. but also a large bit of not wanting rejection. ie., you are guaranteed rejection from a st4raight dude, but with gay men its more personal because rejection can hurt even more. so as crazy as it sounds you may feel safer and less hurt being rejected by a straght male.
also you may like 'straight actin' males, yet these also exist with gay males too
 
I have the same problem, but that's probably because the percentage of gay guys here is very low.
 
I kind of have the same problem. But mine comes with not knowing many gay guys that are like me. I hang out with straight guys and chicks. My chick friends are all kooky and crazy (not attracted to them) and my guy friends, are just like me. Partly retarded but mostly average.

Most of the gay guys I meet it's hard to find people who aren't flamboyant/overly sexual/trying too hard to be masculine. Just people being themselves.
 
Look at it this way, you're attracted to mannerism that are found mostly in straight guys that you've encountered and you just haven't met those gay guys who exhibit those same mannerisms yet. Not that you're attracted to straight guys. That's as rediculous and would mean that you only love guys who have to love girls.

Don't sweat it. You'll find the one. Just because you've only fallen for straight guys so far doesn't mean as a rule you fall for straight guys. Maybe more straight guys are around you and that's why. If you were surrounded by gay guys, I know you'd fall for one of them.
 
When will some gay men get it STRAIGHT! (pun intended). Please read the post below to another similar thread; maybe you'll learn something useful:

Listen to yourself! Why, why do you welcome such drama into your life? Seek the love of someone who is 1. single and 2. shares your sexual preference/compatibility. You have a psychological tendency to seek pain in your life, and you need to get rid of it. Do something for yourself that is good for you, like start looking for love where you can actually get some. You will some day be happy, very happy, and that will be with someone who will love you as you are and is capable of sharing all of himself with you. Stop hurting yourself and wasting your time and emotional resources with impossible prospects.
 
I've found the best solution to this problem is to hang out more often with gay men. You'll find yourself caring a lot less about hot straight guys if there are hot gay guys for you to obsess over.
 
Lord, who hasn't been there.... lol, shit.. breeders still give me grief til this day... especially those damn ambiguous ones..
 
I started a porn company so I could see the ones I liked naked and jerking off...it scratches the itch and I'm able to move on pretty quick, and there's always another naked straight guy around the corner. I still love straight men...as brothers. But it's getting to see them naked and being sexual that makes it cool that it won't go further than that.

Also, there's lots of guys that only look straight at first glance...you just have to get better at picking them out of a crowd. Then you can have the best of both worlds ;)
 
Well, like me, you're going to have to go to where the gay guys are. It's not easy for me, and I doubt it will be any easier for you. There are gay guys that have the same traits that your straight friend has. But you will have to get yourself around more gay guys in order to find him. But then again, don't look too hard, because it seems (according to some people here) that when you least expect to find him, you'll find him.
 
Eh, I've been there once. Never going there again. Falling for straight guys is like running into brick walls. But since I've been (ever so slowly) coming out, I've noticed there are tons of HOT gay guys out there. Keep an eye out for the ones who might take an interest in you. Straight guys make great friends...and nothing more. ;)
 
I think every gay man has fallen for a straight friend. I also did about 15 years ago and we even ended up having sex which was the worst thing that could of happened , The sex was amazing but unfortunately it was at a high cost as he immediately pulled away from me the next day and our friendship went backwards.

If you value the friendship dont push for anything more. Its not worth losing a good friendship if you value it.
