Sorry, color me frustrated. Selling 400$ worth of jewelry today and I get a gift of 9 hour schedule work next week. Appreciation shows. ..|
That's because you're a little money machine for them. More hours = more sales.

Maybe you should ask about commissions.

I have to agree with Riverrick.

You're making them money.

And you didn't even have to take your clothes off! ;)

Just feel under-appreciated. Guess I am asking too much when it comes to a season job, though. Eh.

You know, it sucks to be working seasonal. It's good that you're working and I tend to look at any job as more earned experience, but with seasonal you know that its for a limited time. Keep your eyes peeled and hopefully you will find something that is better suited to you and gives you the work hours you are looking for. Hang in there B!

I meant that as partial sarcasm, my whole schedule next week is only 9 hours. and it's a shame because I like, or should I say liked the place. Most likely going to be working for CVS now.

And I don't get commission.
Ooops! I thought you meant 9 hour days.

A 9 hour week? They need to rethink this. You ARE underappreciated!

I don't think so. I am just saying that I will be leaving this job for CVS. I don't think I'll be enjoying CVS as much as this place, but CVS is offering full time and that's what I need.
I know -- I was just being my usual obnoxious self.

But if you do join CVS, think of all the half-price stale candy canes you can gorge yourself on the day after Christmas -- and you get an employee discount, too!

Pardon my ignorance, but what is CVS?
