If given the chance, would you be straight or gay?

What a stupid question. There are much more worthwhile things to think about.
 
I guess I'm going against the grain on this one but if I had the chance to pick I would pick straight hands down. I hate being in the ethnic minority AND the orientation minority. It is just too much at times.

How does being bi give you that choice? As if bisexual people who identify as bisexual suddenly become straight or gay depending on the gender of the person they are dating? I think that's kind of offensive.
 
I hate questions like these. What if questions. I prefer to deal with reality.

Of course most guys are gonna say straight because obviously they will run into less misunderstandings/prejudice that way.

But the question is moot because nobody chooses their sexual orientation.

So please, find something else to occupy your time with- something real that we can do to make the world a better place. Life is short, there really is little time for what if games.
 
I do like being gay because I like who I am right now, but if I were straight there would be a whole lot more fish in the sea that are easier to see without moving half a continent away (the midwest sucks). If there was a magic pill I'd say no, I've already been through an identity crisis and am not doing it again. If from the very beginning I'd probably lean towards yes.
 
id definitely go for straight too. for the family sake. id be a good dad.

gotta admit i'm probably a better person because im gay, as in more accepting, tolerant and all of that, but it does hurt sometimes
 
I'm a little disturbed by the amount of people saying they'd go ahead and change. Whatever happened to gay pride? We should be battling the things in society that makes us unequal, not saying we'd rather just become a part of those things (the status quo). Do you think racial minorities would choose to become white just because of the adversities they face? I hope not... you guys are cowards.
 
can I cheat? I would rather be gay in a gayer world ;)

I would rather our species copulate male to male and provide offspring that way. I would rather have that be the norm and religion accept it as sacred.

That's what I want :)

I can understand why some people on here would find this offensive in a way, but I guess alot of people are saying straight including myself just for an easier life.

However being gay has taught me not to discriminate against diffrences in people. But oh well cant change it so we may as well get over it, and just enjoy our lifes why we can.
 
There are many worries when it comes to being gay. It is sad that gay teens have the highest suicide rate. It sucks that people automactically assume one is straight and is suppose to live the traditional way. Gays are even denied some basic human rights! So being gay is not a walk in the park. I like guys and that is that. I'd rather wish that people knew how to mind their own buisness and let the consentual parties do what they please. So long as I am enjoying myself, and I am, can't say I' d want to change. I don't want to be straight because of my homophobic family. I've gotten into fight because of my gayness ( which isn't that obvious I'm no flame) and I didn't want to be straight. I want to please those I love, but not at the expensive of who I really am. Life could go either way if you were straight. My best friend had re worst luck with girls because he picked the wrong ones while I, no he wasn't the best, had what was then a stable relatinship with a guy. Life could be worse, could be better. I can't really say that at the moment being gay is my biggest " concern." I'm sure later on there wil be problems, but when is life ever a walk in the park all throughout?
 
Done numerous years of straight and only been out a couple of months .... I feel my life is more happier been gay and I know who I am now
