no, I just hate her and everything about her. I hate what she stands for - Fame isn't something you get by being good at anything anymore.. it's something you buy.

you no longer have to have talent to be famous.. you don't have to be able to sing or act or write or dance or speak or even just be good at interviewing people.. you now just have to be proud to be a skank.

She personifies why music sucks, why movies suck, why TV sucks.... it's not all her fault.. people today are so shallow and lame themselves that they like to celebrate mediocrity.

So yes, if PAris Hilton died in a horrible way, I'd not care at all, and might be kinda relieved. And no, I woudln't buy the inevitable video.

Oh, gimme a break. You DO just love to hate her.

A. You dont know her. I'd imagine its hard to truly hate someone you've never met. The Paris you know is the Paris thats been portrayed by the media. America loves to make fun of her because she's a spoiled brat, so the media gives us what we want.

B. Her music isnt THAT bad, and even if she had an amazing voice, most people would still call it crap because she's Paris. Lets face it, ANYTHING the girl does, no matter if its quality or not, will be taken seriously. I almost feel bad for her in that respect.

Despite you saying we "don't" know her the truth is WE DO. The media doesn't portray her for what she's not, they portray her for exactly what she is...because she is THE MEDIA. She uses it to be known there's no point where she's not doing that she's a product of the media...she creates the media for her, because they just love to eat that up. That's what she is one big attention whore plain and simple...she really has nothing to offer to society other than how good she is at getting attention.

Once again, you can say you know her, but you DO NOT. Her public persona is just that, a persona. It was key to her rise to fame. If she was boring and normal, no one would care about her.

Neither you nor I know the "real" Paris, we only know the ditsy slut she is portrayed as. I honestly doubt thats her real personality.

The celebs I dislike are the ones that use their fame to push their beleifs on everyone. So far, Paris hasnt done that at all.

Ok, how many twenty something year olds out there havent driven dunk and/or insulted someone at some point in their life. Kids do it ALL THE TIME.

The one time she does it, its national news and everyone bashes her. I still say she's a normal girl.
 
I've never driven drunk either, but a good percentage of kids have.

I've never heard of her calling anyone a stupid nigger, and I have a hard time believing that.

We're prolly not gonna change each others minds, so we might as well let this thread die.

I'm not saying I love the girl. I dont. I just think she's one of those people that everyone loves to hate, even if theres no real reason to. I know she has a huge ego, but I find it more comical than offensive. I am often undeservingly told I have a huge ego, and that im a rich spoiled brat, so I suppose we have that in common.

you don't get that I don't care about that crap.

what I hate is that she proves that fame is no longer something people get for being good at anything. She's famous because she's stupid.

There are tons of people out there who say "I like her" but when you ask them what it is that they like... they dont' know.. they just "Like her". Which means I really hate THEM for being so stupid as to "like" someone who's stupid, talentless and famous for being stupid and talentless.
