It took me about 3 seconds to open the site and enter my signature to draft Gore. Imagine what this country would look like now if the Supreme Court had not screwed Gore out of the nomination. Of course, it will take decades for the Supreme Court ever to look non-partisan and fair again. I don't want to lower the tone of this discussion, but what a bunch of assholes. I could NEVER vote for McCain who says he would appoint justices just like the last two partisans chosen by Herr Bush.

You know I have thought long and hard about this and now and I have come to the conclusion of a change of heart. I DO NOT LIKE THE Clintons. I guess that's pretty obvious to those of you who read my post me being an Obama supporter and all. To me the Clintons are corrupt people. And I believe if the American people didn't have their heads in the sand the Clintons wouldn't have never gotten this far. There is no "working" with Clinton. You either kill the beast or the beast kills you. She is completely corrupt and compromised by a combination of her own ambition and the fact that she's sold her ass to the special interests in order to realize that ambition. She has no integrity and she's pathologically dishonest. She will say and do anything to win. Nothing is off limits to her and her husband. They will lie about ANYTHING that serves their purpose of the moment. They are vindictive. They are deceitful. They are untrustworthy. They are sneaky and power hungry. They are manipulative. She and her husband definitely cannot be trusted.
That being said, however if she wins the Democratic nomination I will support her in the general election over McCain. It took me a while to come to this conclusion but I feel that it is the right decision. I realize that we cannot afford to have another Republican in the White House, especially someone like McCain whose just another continuation of the Bush-Cheney economic and foreign policies. We cannot afford to have 4 more years of that nor can we afford to have McCain appoint conservative judges on the Supreme Court. For those reasons alone that is a risk I am not willing to forfeit just because my ideal candidate (the best candidate in the field I might add Sen. Obama) doesn't win the nomination.
If Sen. Clinton wins the nomination, I will support her come this November (not because I think she is best candidate for the job in the field) but because I care about and love my country. We need to have a Democratic president in 2008. PERIOD!! And whether that person is Senator Clinton or Senator Obama doesn't really matter. Whichever one wins the nomination has my vote.
