And suddenly you discover that there are people taking illegal drugs, would you stay on and party? Or would you leave?
 
At most parties that activity goes on, usually in a back room. I'm OK with that, as long as things don't get out of hand.

If it is going on out in the open, like the coffee table or kitchen table, I will usually make my exit.
 
It depends on the drugs.

Smoking weed? Pass it over...

Smoking crack? I'm gone...
 
Personally, I don't want to be in the same room. It goes on, especially in a city like Austin where there is a huge amount of the population that smokes weed.
 
I don't like being near illegal activities ;)

It depends.

I have friends that I've known for years who like to sneak off and do a little "nose candy." I guess that I'm okay with it so long as I don't have to watch them do it.

Now if everyone is out in the open doing there drugs, or I find out that kneedles are being used, or there is Crystel Meth "in da house" then yes, I'm out of there so fast I don't even want to know the host, much less to thank them for the invite!

I am asthmatic so even if there is cigarrette smoke in a party (especially if the room is small) I have to leave. But personally, I don't like being around drugs.
 
The possibility of dangerous drug dealers or a police raid would be enough reason for me to leave the party.

If I'm at a party and enjoying myself, I'd stay. Why would I leave because someone pulls out a joint?

I can't even remember the last time I went to a party where there wasn't someone smoking pot out by the pool or doing a discreet line in the bathroom. It is just part of life down here.
 
I dont think I've ever been to a party without drugs going on, and to be honest, most of the time, I am one of those people taking the drugs..
I remember at one party, everyone was doing Pills, except for this pair (one girl, one boy), and they were so freaked out, they ran home.
I just thought: "Blesss 'em"

If people actually knew ALL the facts about drugs, and not just the bullshit they push on people, and educated them about them properly with the entirely true facts/effects etc, people wouldnt need to be scared.
Alcohol is more harmful.. But thats Ok, cos its a taxable drug..

well, i don't have any friends that do that. i used to go to the White Party with friends. I knew that a lot of drugs were going on but we still had fun. I would not stay if my friends were doing it or I felt that it was being pushed on me. It would not make me want to stay for very long.
 
I would never stay at a party where illegal drugs were being used. I don't like the smell of smoke and will discretely move away from smokers while they are smoking.
 
I don't care what goes on out of sight but if it takes over the party and is beyond a little pot, I'm out of there. I've been at too many parties, and a major bar, that were busted and it's not anything you want to be a part of.

Well, in California, you can't smoke in bars/clubs. The drugs that I used to see where in water bottles. My friends used to tell me to always leave the cap on my water bottle (because that is all I ever drank in bars) and to never share it or try anyone elses. Nice to have protective friends. ..|
