With my iphone. I've had it since August, and have gotten bored. A year ago (right about this time, actually.) I went through a bunch of other devices before ending back up on an iPhone, and then switching to a Nexus One until August, but I'm bored again. I've been looking at a few devices, and am pretty enamored with Windows Phone 7, or the Samsung Nexus S. Then again, CES is coming up and I know the tech of smartphones is changing at a fast and furious pace.

What to do, what to do...

Just get a cheap phone just for calling and texting and you're ready.

I'd go for a HTC Android phone like the Desire. There you can try all kinds of customized firmwares and some of them can even run debian.

From a technological point of view the smart phones are not really changing at all: just increasing speed and screen resolution or adding a front camera noone needs is not really exciting. So you have to get a phone were the bootloader and firmware have been cracked and customized to get new software features without having to buy a new phone all the time.

Haha. But that still doesn't solve the problem that I'm bored with the experience of the iPhone. I love HTC sense, but the HTC Evo is getting long in the tooth. I also looked at the MyTouch4g, and its a pretty great phone.

I still really, really like WP7, but the marketplace right now is a wasteland.

Well I think I've narrowed it down to a phone on sprint, because their plans are 10-15 bucks cheaper a month. I'd either get the Evo or Epic, but I'm not sure yet because I'm still not completely sold. Windows Phone 7 is awesome, and I love it, but the app store sucks and I'd be missing too much. (the myTouch 4G is a definite maybe though)

Another wrench in the works; my boyfriend got me something iPhone-related for christmas, so I might be sticking with it for longer than I thought.
