I've been thinking about it for awhile now but does anyone here have their tongue pierced? Any pros or cons? Regrets? How much does it cost? Does it hurt? Any advice would be helpful.Thanks!
 
I had my tongue pierced about 10 years ago. Do I have any regrets? Yes according to my dentist that is why I lost 8 Teeth.
 
I've always wanted one.

But the risk of hitting the nerve in the tongue is not something I'm willing to take.
 
I don't know why people wants their touch pierce.
It doesn't look nice with a piece of metal in the tongue.
 
Any piercing is going to hurt, especially the tongue! If you're going to do it, then make sure it's done by a professional. More importantly is to follow through on the aftercare instructions or otherwise you will be showing up at the local ER with an infection.

I think piercings are very sexy and erotic.
 
there was a guy getting his tongue pierced when I went to get my navel done, he moved when he was told not to, they hit a vein in his tongue.....whole mouth filled with blood in seconds, coughing all over the place.....*shudder*

if you go, then go and ask the person doing it if they have one and if they got it done there, always go to a tattoo/piercing palour run by someone who has multiple piercings and/or tattoos, always a good sign.....like fat chefs hehehe
 
I recently bough one of those fake tongue studs that will stay in your tongue by using air. Doesn't work. I was a wimp when I had my ear pierced.

So, if I were to have my tongue pierced I would probably have to be heavily sedated and insist on staying over at a hospital overnight under 24 hour observance (LOL)

Wish I had the guts to do it, but I agree. I think its very hot on both guys and girls. I recently saw a picture of Dennis Kucinich's wife and she has a pierced tongue. I swear, Dennis Kuccinich is the luckiest man alive. Its not fair!
 
I was going to get my tongue pierced, until I was informed by my music tutor that it would change my singing voice, so went for belly ring and a few earrings instead.....considering s nipple ring myself hehe
