Hi Guys,

28 here from australia...well after a very long time I have come out of ther closet to my friends...so excited, (!):gogirl:(!) i feel like i can now be myself and look for someone else, ive hidden for a long time and never been with anyone in any sense apart from my close group of friends.

i have not told my brother or parents yet, still working up to it, i just wanted to say thanks, this forum had given me a lot of reading and some great advice!!

told my brother....he was a little shocked but is okay with it....i am really happy :gogirl::gogirl::gogirl::gogirl:

I just came out to a close friend and I'm still adjusting to the feeling (mind you, she knew long before I told her). Congrats!

Coming out of closet is really awesome. That kind of feeling is just so undeniably good. I'm glad you did that. And it's really cool for being yourself again...

Well, to be honest, you don't really need to tell your parents unless you have to, I think. Coming out to your friends is a lot easier than to your parents. So do think it through before you do it.

Thanks for the support guys. All of the important people in my life now know...for the rest of them, if they need to know they will, however I do hope my sexuality is not at the highest priority for my mere aquaintances!
