Okay I did something stupid. I had unprotected sex. Yes the same old story. I was horny and could not help myself. It was with a guy who worked in a massage parlor and in my area its known that men that work in a massage parlor like to fuck the people they're massage and its so obvious half their customers are gay. So anyway me and him have sex and then hours later my body itches and I havea cold sore but I have had this cold soe before so its no big deal but I had two showers since then and my body itches like hell especially my asshole which could be normal because I have ate lots of eggs in the past few days and egss make me sorta itchy but anyway I'm still scared shitless. I know your going to say get testested but its just I have to wait a while but my question is even if I did have HIV is it possible for the symptoms to develop hours after the sex or is that too fast ? Might be anxiety......I fell like even if I did have HIV, a heart attack might kill me first :4 please help me
 
You're over reacting. Symptoms don't appear that quickly and those aren't symptoms anyway. It takes months at minimum for symptoms to show. Take an anti-histamine and relax. You will have to be tested but like you said you have to wait. I don't know if there's something that can be done - like a "morning-after" pill for HIV - or not. Someone else may know. I assume he came inside you? You should see a doctor soon. Bring a condom next time.

I've been through the same thing so I know exactly how you feel and it is awful. Try to calm down and keep posting about your feelings. It will help. Call an AIDS hotline and talk to someone for information on what to do. They will have current information.
 
With itching I would start thinking crabs, but I've never had them so don't really know... but it's not caused by HIV, that much I'm sure of.... BUT that doesn't mean that you didn't get infected by HIV.

Bottom line is you had unprotected sex, not only with someone who works in the sex industry, but a guy who in his line of work is nevertheless willing to have unprotected sex. So it probably isn't his first time. Did he cum inside you?

The "morning after" cityboy refers to above exists, but it's not available everywhere. You can read about it in the sticky thread at the top of this forum. The basic summary is that you need to get yourself to a health clinic and start the treatment in under 72 hours from the time of your exposure, the sooner the better.

All of that said, even if he was HIV+ and did cum inside you, it doesn't automatically mean you get infected. HIV is actually not that easy to catch. I hope you were lucky this time and that there won't ever be a next time!

Is PEP a cure for HIV?

There is no cure for HIV once it has established itself in the body. However, if taken within 72 hours (3 days) of exposure to the HIV virus PEP can, in most cases, prevent it from establishing itself in the body.

However the side-effects can be hefty and as far as I know you only get it here if you have had a high-risk contact with a person known to be positive.
 
I live in a country where these kind of treatments would not be available !!! But no he did not cum inside of me !!!! I'm guessing that good right ?!
 
Yes that's good and it makes the risk much less but not zero. It will still be a tough time until you can test. In the meantime, be calm, do not panic at every little sniffle or sore throat that happens to you. People get colds everyday without having HIV.

Also remember in the future never have unprotected anal sex, no exceptions.
