Congratulations!!! I'm glad everything went so well. Please be aware that parents usually go through several phases of acceptance. Please be patient if it takes them a little time to fully come to terms with it. Based on their initial reaction, I'm sure everything will be fine.

omg, i feel like i have a whole new attitude, im like happy all the time now, i used to be a depressed ass-hole now im a happy ass-hole!!! Wow, i have so much more confidence. This is an amazing feeling. I know everyone has their time to come out and not everyones family will be understanding, however, i urge everyone to come out, be yourself, its an amazing feeling!!!

Luka, you awful horrible person! I'm now sitting in my office with huge tears in my eyes trying to keep my composure. Making a grown man cry like that, you should be ashamed of yourself! LOL!!!

I'm so happy for you and proud of you for taking this step. Not everyone is as lucky to have understanding partents. And don't worry about the "we don't approve" stuff, they'll come around. And if they don't, it's just something you live with. They obviously love you enough to accept you for who you are. That's so wonderful. (*8*)

lols, sry i made u cry, haha. Yes they are awsome. I talked to my mum on the phone today and she asked if i told my best friend i told them and i said yes. then she asked how did you think are reaction was? and i said, it was great, i am very lucky to have parents like you, you are the best. The she said, i know, haha and we are lucky to have such a wonderful son like you! I was like, fuck im lucky to have the best parents ever.

Wow, that's a great story! Thanks for coming back to the thread and updating us. It's always good to read about problem-free coming out experiences, because they happen every day. So much of this forum is about the less positive ones, because guys are generally here to solve problems not announce successes. It's nice to get more of that balance, so that other guys will be less afraid to come out.
