I'm uncut and getting head is really painful, is it the mild phimosis causing it?

I've been gradually working on fixing my phimosis for years. It's finally around 95% cured with only a very slight pull around the largest part of my glans, but it retracts fully and glides almost 100% smoothly when masturbating whereas I used to have do it with the foreskin up because it would get stuck behind the glans and make it swell.

The other thing is that the glans bends back a bit when I retract past a certain point, not sure if I'm just retracting too far or if it's not meant to happen at all - i.e. tight frenulum also and may be causing this glans sensitivity? It otherwise doesn't bother me.

I hoped the improvement was good enough but blowjobs really make my head sting, it's painful and I have to make them stop every time, they're not using teeth or doing it aggressively either.

Is it the remaining (very very mild) phimosis or may I have just have an overly sensitive head? Suggestions welcome, maybe something like spending time with the foreskin retracted while wearing underwear similar to what circumcised guys do would work?

Thanks.

I think it's unlikely that the phimosis itself would cause the glans to sting on contact with saliva or friction: sounds more like a sensitivity issue of the glans itself.

Do you get a similar stinging sensation if you masturbate in a similar manner to getting a blowjob? If the phimosis has meant the glans was covered almost 100% of the time, it may be very sensitive to any change of environment. Your suggestion of spending time with the foreskin retracted could toughen it up. Then again, in the natural world, foreskins generally cover the glans 99% of the time so you would think they are designed for that situation, not circumcision and exposure 100% of the time.

However, in my own experience, whilst I don't suffer from phimosis to any significant degree, I have also experienced a stinging sensation of the glans whilst masturbating or engaging in sexual stimulation by a partner, but I have a recurring fungal infection that I think is increasing the sensitivity. I once had a balanitis diagnosis that was resistant to the medication prescribed and the specialist wanted to do a biopsy that had a risk of complications requiring circumcision, until I discovered they hadn't checked properly for a fungal infection and it resolved rapidly when I treated it myself with Daktarin.

Interestingly, using the Daktarin cream seemed to relax the foreskin, perhaps because it killed the fungus that was irritating the nerves in the skin, causing the muscles to contract as well. I haven't been able to get a good medical explanation of what is happening. I have always had a shortish foreskin, but with the Daktarin it seemed to temporarily elongate.

It's possible you could be experiencing something similar, so I would get a medical opinion and perhaps try the Daktarin treatment yourself.

Are you using a condom when getting blowjobs? It's possible you are reacting to the rubber, or if not using condoms, perhaps having an allergic reaction to saliva from a partner.

I also get the glans bending downwards if the foreskin is retracted beyond a certain point: probably because the frenulum is fairly tight at that point, but as long as I have enough lubrication and not too much pressure, it rarely gets to that point.

Before we get further into this, have you consulted a urologist?
