I just watched it in 3D in the cinema with my ex.

Just saw it and completely agree. The 3D added nothing and the film took itself way too seriously. It was ridiculous how bombastic and moody the music was for every scene. At first the sets are interesting, but eventually the visuals suffer from being just as over the top as the music and the story.
Likewise ridiculous was the way Theseus was called upon to step up and lead "his people." Except they weren't really his people; his mother was scorned by the villagers, and peasants were treated unequally, leading to their slaughter. We were supposed to then cheer for them when he decided to fight with them?
The one good thing about it was it showed Henry Cavill has what it takes to be Superman. His beauty and intensity rose above the lame story.

Saw it the other night -- Loved it! Good movie. I enjoyed it. And yes -- lots of eye-candy.

2hrs......(-Poor)..
The best way to describe this flick is by saying "Immortals" had an affair with "Conan the Barbarian" and gave birth to a Flop...At least "Conan" showed his Ass..We went in thinking "Immortals" was gonna be HALF-way decent since the Producers of "300" had their hands all over it. A few weeks ago it did good @ the Box Office but I should have known something wasn't right when no one talked about liking it.
The first 15-minutes moved sooooo slow. The cast was decent and there wasnt much they could do with the script and plot.. I blame everything on the Directors vision and the screenwriters thought process. Legendary "Play boy" Mickey Rourke is proudly excepting his place as a "villain" these days. I'm also noticing a trend of his from flick to flick. He must have it written in his contract that he gets to show off his body during several scenes. He's old but Ripped..
Freida Pinto is getting work these days and she's Drop-dead gorgeous. Her smiles lights up the screen. Her face was made for the Silver-screen and her acting is decent. Only a handful of special effects played out in this 2hr flick. Even a boatload of effects wouldn't have saved the day..
Don't waste your money @ the box-office. Wait for this Flick to premier on Cable..

Exactly...And "Eye Candy" means nothing when the movie is Crapola..

I thought it was mediocre... the fights among the gods was good.. and the adaptation of theseus and the minotaur was good i thought.... It was theseus right? minds drawing a blank
