"New talents"? Meaning what?

"I'm looking for an African-American female's music to listen to."

or

"I'm in search of an African-American female to represent/produce/record/write for."

thanks, guys,
the last time, i found tamyra gray quite a talented singer before jennifer hudson,
so, by this, you know what i mean ^^

by the way, are there any powerhouse voices like jennifer hudson and whitney houston ?

^Whitney is a powerhouse? I'd hardly call a female soprano smoking herself down to tenor "powerhouse" Powersmoker maybe. And it's okay to say black, many black Americans have ancestry outside of Africa.

If you're looking for "powerhouse" I'd go with Chrisette Michelle. Imagine Billie Holiday with Janis Joplin undertones.

Whitney was a powerhouse, which is a shame. I am still waiting to hear her comeback album. Oh yeah Mil, WH was an alto, not a soprano.;)
