Insinuating Youself In someones life lol

Ok I am moderatley good at insinuating myself upon people who I find interesting.
I usually talk to them, Ask them about their interests, compliment them & just act like I want to befriend them. This works very good unless the person just doesnt like your guts from the time they see you lol. But these insinuation friendships usually dont last(at least for me it doesnt) but its fun to get to know sum1 & see them warming up to you

That doesn't really work for me. By nature, I'm kind of shy and reserved and react coolly to people who try to get to know me too quickly, or superficially (like at a cocktail party, picnic, party, etc.). On the other hand, friendships that I've formed tend to last.

I wonder if there's a connection?

well yes, the sure way to a person's heart is to act or be interested in their lives. ask them about their thoughts, their hopes and dreams, and complimenting them (moderately, not over the top) - this works.

i dont think you necessarily have to give up those friendships. i've had several friends for years where it's mainly me hearing about them. but since i'm a natural listener and voyeur i dont mind.

but the last time i did this we wind up truly having lots in common
i thought we were going to be real pals but he just doesnt show interest so i let it go

working on another guy now lol

Well as long as you insinuate for the right reason (you are mutually attracted, have common interests, etc.).

If you try to insinuate only because he's good looking, it ain't gonna work. And that sounds like a terrible way to live your life. All drama.

well we sort of have agood chemistry (not sexual) and he is good looking but thats not why I am doing it lol
I truly want to be friends with him and i think insinuating myself is the best way to do it
