YAY!(!)
Now this is awesome. Thread needs a new title though. If you're really looking for inspiration, turn to Blackholesun's thread. He's not as lazy as I am.;)

Starter pics look fine. Nice arms.
What's your plan for the workouts?

CE..|

ps: Agree with pablozed.

Sorry to hear that. And I know its even harder these days to get loans. But here is the great thing about technology - there are a lot of classes online for free. For example, I have been watching biology lectures from the University of California.

So here is what I would tell my own kids (if I had any). Watch some lectures online as if you were actually enrolled in the class. When you apply for a job explain that it was too expensive to actually go to the school of your choice, but you are taking the classes virtually. An employer will respect your ambition and perserverance.

I think you look quite fine already ... but good luck with the working out!

Although you're due for a picture update.

Nice pics! I love the tattoo!!

I would agree that school will serve you better than porn. But that's your choice.

And I agree... you're due for an update!

Man you have great arms.. and you are just one state away from me! Good luck with the workouts. Keep us up to date on what you're doing and what effect it's having. Maybe we can learn something. I am always trying to do something different and change things up.

Flys will work the center of the chest more. And they tend to be a little less stress on the shoulder than presses which work in a single plane of motion.

You can also adjust the incline of the bench to help take some of the stress off of the shoulder.

Your best option is to lower your weight for a while, ice your shoulder after your workout and take an anti-inflammatory until the connective tissue in your shoulder is less inflamed. If lowering the weights temporarily doesn't resolve it, you may need to take a break altogether.

"Using light weights and higher reps thinking that it will help you get more "cut" is a mistake: What put the muscle on in the first place is likely to help you keep it there. "

Don't got with many reps, as long as you can do atleast 12 with the weights you are using you should be fine.
Less then 10, decrease the weight.
More then 20, increase.

I really hope you let your muscles rest for 72 hours.
Divide and conquer, each day pick a group of muscles close to each other and work them.
Divide into 72/24 = 3 muscle groups.

Shoulders, Triceps, Biceps etc...

Thanks kara. but i dont have an INJURED shoulder, i just always feel the stress from lifting arund the cuff area instead of in the middle of my chest and my pecs, where id like to feel it more

If you were describing it as "I feel my chest work more in my back and arms and not as much as I want in my chest", then I would say to just change the bench around or switch to a different exercise.

But it sounds like you're describing a feeling in the joint in your shoulder. While there are times where you will feel it in your joints with these repetitive, single-plan motions, it shouldn't be painful and it shouldn't happen all of the time.

It's not an injury but it is your body's way of telling you that your joints are stressed.

In this forum, I often talk about core exercises and why they're important. Think of it this way- weightlifting works three things- your coordination, your muscles and your connective tissue. Injuries happen when one of these areas is weaker than the other. So, guys who are really working their muscles but aren't allowing time for their connective tissue (ligaments, tendons) to catch up are at higher risk for injury.

So, while you may not have an injury yet, your body is telling you, "You're working and building your muscles with this exercise, but the ligaments in your shoulder is not strong enough to support this weight yet".

So, why reducing the inflammation, altering the position and lowering the weight, you're giving your ligaments and tendons a chance to strengthen and catch up so that they can support the weights that your muscles are ready to lift.

Porn is a great blackmark on a resume that you'll never be able to erase. And if you don't think people will find out, you will learn the hard way because that kind of stuff turns up in employment background checks. I don't speak from my own experience but do have a friend who went the porn route and now he's deeply sorry that he did. The money you earn is not worth it.
