I met some friends at the Marriot for drinks before we went to a club to celebrate. Some other friends showed up and one of the ladies had a guy with her who I thought was her date. He introduced himself to everyone in the room and by shaking their hands. When he finally got to me I reached my hand out to shake his hand and he shook my hand and then huged me :confused:
So that was cool with me, just interesting. So as the rest were getting ready to go I glanced over at him and we had a very long stair. That happened a couple of times. We went to the party and had a good time and nothing happened the rest of the night. #-o

The next day my good friend that was there told me that this guy wasn't her date just a friend and he had told her he didn't want to get married or have kids. So my friend is going to find out more about him and try to get his number for me or invite him to one of our parties. I'm not sure if theres much there but I'm going to give it a try...
Any thoughts are welcome.
 
Well dude it sounds to me like he is interested in you. Best advice I can give you is to make a move and see what happens. Good Luck!

not true. I often give guys handshakes sometimes and it turns into that awkward feeling where your not sure if you should follow through with the half hug, pull in and do the G thang, or just shake. Chances are you were attracted to him and gave him that weird feeling so he didn't know what else to do. If he came with a female date, then I doubt he is gay or wants you to know he gay.

you hug or give the half hug to people who you never met before?

i only give the half hug to close friends or friends i havnt seen in a while, i would never just hug some random guy i was meeting for the first time. now that would give me the awkward feeling if anything
 
You lose nothing by trying, and could gain in the end.
 
Thanks for the replies. I really wasn't looking for anything that night that's why it kind of stuck out. And as I said he wasn't her date. They we're there as friends. Had I known that I would have talked to him a little more and found out more info about him. I didn't pay attention to wether he was good looking until later, after the stair. By the way he was prettty good looking:twisted: I never hug a person that I don't know. Still waiting for Lex to comment. He usually has good answers:D
 
Hey, if you feel that you might be into him, go for it... get together again with your mutual girlfriend and go out to the club "together" have a couple drinks to loosen him up. Im not advising getting each other smashed and doing stuff, just feel him out. You never know, you always catch them when your not looking, you may have caught yours!
