I used to have a big crush on Paul Banks. I'm sure this will rekindle it.

And I'm so jealous that I'm gonna miss them at Coachella tomorrow:( I'll have to watch the live feed from home.

There are so many good albums coming out on July 10th.
Smashing Pumpkins, Interpol, Spoon, Justice. Three of my favorite bands plus one very hyped band that I want to check out.

i saw them last week ands it was a horrible show.

i'm a big fan and was excited to see them again (4th time) and for the new record but after that show i'm very disapointed.

maybe they will redeem themselves when they come back for vfest in september.

I saw them live last month. They were good, but their last song ended early because one of their guitars broke.

Did you think it sucked because they just kinda stand in one place through the whole performance?

no, i've seen them before and loved the show.

it was just bad, the sound, the venue, the crwod , the band.

bad nigth i guess. :(

I'm excited about this album. I love Interpol, and I've had the pleasure of seeing them live twice. They're a very solid band, only think I don't like about the new album is the cover art. Not a big deal, but it's rather unsightly in my opinion.

Just bought "Our Love To Admire" today.
And I'm mightily impressed. Half way through my first listen I was beaming. The wait was well worth it - a more than satisfying release.
The opening track, "Pioneer to the Falls" is a stunner.
The beautiful "Pace Is The Trick" is my favourite track - with those melodic turns that melt your soul.
Lyric of the year has to be "Theres no "I" in threesome"
God I love these guys and what they do.
Like their first 2 releases, this one is going to be on continuous play for the next couple of weeks.

Great work guys!

Anyone else have an opinion on the whole CD?

I love the new album. I got it online a couple weeks ago, but I plan on buying it in stores on Tuesday (along with the new SMASHING PUMPKINS!!! and Spoon).
"Pioneer to the Falls" is incredibly beautiful. It just flows so naturally.
I also like "Pace is the Trick," "All Fired Up," "Rest My Chemistry," and "The Lighthouse." Really every track is great. I find this album to be much more immediate than Turn on the Bright Lights or Antics. The guitars on "The Lighthouse" just sound so cool.
Great album. I'd say that it's tied with or better than their debut, which was my favorite until now.

I got my copy yesterday. It's going to take a few listens to sink in, but I think this one's a keeper. :)

I was debating between the regular and deluxe edition. Either way, I can't wait til Tuesday.

>>>Yesterday? What country are you from?

United States. But I know people. :)

What does the deluxe edition have that the regular doesn't?

Either way....I hope you enjoy it..|

It looks like this:

It's the standard CD in special packaging...but it look so cool!

I will be at Borders bright and early tomorrow to get this. Can't wait.

I'm getting it today. So does the special edition come with a poster? I'm guessing that's what the big thing is that says:
"IN
TER
POL"
I've seen a few ads like that in the city, except the letters were white, not filled in by the album art.

I just got it. I'm going to listen to it on repeat for the rest of the month. :)
