Is It A Choice??!!

Some people torture their pets. Beheading, setting on fire, stabbing, shooting with arrows or bebe guns, throwing around violently. Some people simply don't have healthy (or any) emotions. It's much more common than you'd think.
Ah, but again you're confusing quality (bad/negative emotions) with quantity (having emotions). I think most people* have emotions--most people have emotional connections, good or bad.

*--Other than, as I said, an apparent minority of people with an emotional deficit disorder. How else could George W Bush get re-elected? It certainly wasn't logic that drove their votes. Fear is an emotion that motivates a lot of people.

It's at the root of 75% of the world's problems
Not 74% or, say, 76%? :-) I mean, really, where did you come up with that number? :-) Don't try to use math or science to back up your opinion (see other thread on religion). You can use "I think" or "many" or perhaps even "most". But 75%? No can do, unless you have evidence.

The Dictionary states Homosexual as...

1. of, relating to, or characterized by a tendency to direct sexual desire toward
another of the same sex
2. of, relating to, or involving sexual intercourse between persons of the same sex

Hence the Homo (meaning Same).

Other descriptions note that "...having sexual and romantic attraction primarily or exclusively to members of one’s own sex."

Physically if you have sex with a member of the same sex then you are gay, unless you also have sex with women then you are Bisexual.

Anyway, these terms have been assigned to three possible outcomes, having sex with soley the opposite sex, having sex with both sexes or having sex with soley the opposite sex.

There are no degree's in between, there are only two sexes in our species and so only three possible outcomes.

These terms describe physical behavioural patterns for a person, they dont cover emotions or physcological profiles.

P.S. "sexual and romantic attraction" Attraction in my opinion is a majorly physical process, void of emotional involvment. (All levels of attraction are physical down to the subatomic level).

Anyway thats my two cents lol (!)

It makes you either gay or bisexual. By definition, a hetero/straight person is not compatible with men, doesn't desire men, at most may be curious about men but the curiosity is short-lived.

Not true, homosexuality is not solely based on emotion. Lots of gay men have relationships with men that are purely sexual and have nothing to do with emotions. The funny thing here is that you're literally throwing out the meaning of the word homosexual, changing the definition to fit your own opinion.

Perhaps I was unclear in my use of the term 'emotional' I had intended it to relate not necessarily to a relationship so much as the physical attraction in a persons mind. Your whole 'by definition', bit is getting old marley, a straight person is not incompatible with gay acts, thats a ridiculous thing to say, simply because they are not attracted to them doesnt mean they are unable to physcially perform them.

And the "FUNNY" thing isnt that im changing the definition to suit my own opinion, but that YOU are changing YOUR OWN definition to suit your opinion, just as you do in most other posts. I link YOU again to YOUR definition:

Sexual orientation is different from sexual behavior because it refers to feelings and self-concept. Individuals may or may not express their sexual orientation in their behaviors.

It is "funny" isnt it marley, im not seeing that part where participating in homosexual acts (as in those sexual acts commonly associated as being performed by people of the homosexual orientation) makes your gay or bi by default :O

That sounds contradictory, how can you perform a sexual act with a man if you're not attracted to men?

Im sorry marley, but I'm not going to explain the how to you, you'll no doubt learn that when you're older :P.

As for the why, there could be any number of reasons.
