I have no idea how is this going to work, don't have his address, don't know him, don't have his details ... etc.
The guy who want to buy my camera wrote via email.

Alright Mate,
I am very keen. How i wish i could come for viewing and inspection as am currently overseas at the moment and i want it picked up before i get back. Due to my inability to make a bank deposit, I would be paying via PayPal which is safer for me. Kindly send me a paypal payment invoice or create an account at www.paypal.com.au if you dont have one. I will make a concrete pick up arrangement with my transport agent who will be coming over for pick up once you receive full payment into your PayPal account. Have a nice day.

Cheers.

i'm curious,
if he paid to paypal, can he get a refund from paypal without my permission ?

Telstra,i think that the general concencus is that it all smell,s a bit fishy
and that most of us other guys would be putting our minds into gear
and realising this.
Though if you do want to carry on with this and you do get rolled, please dont come bleating here ,because all you will get is a whole bunch of guy,s "me included" saying told ya so. #-o

Definitely sounds fishy to me. Someone actually did something similar to this when they were trying to "buy" my sister's sofa. Luckily she caught it before the transaction could take place and backed out. Tread carefully!

umm, i'm not sure how the trade is going to work and i have not reply the guy yet.
Probably i only accept direct bank deposit or cash on pick up.

He'll open a claim later on and try to not have to pay if he even goes and picks up the camera. This is a scam.

I got an email like this one day and went along with it just for shits and giggles. Ended up giving him a fake credit card number, fake social, fake birthday, fake address, a whole bunch of things.

I now receive over 30 penis enlargement emails a day with no option to unsubscribe from them. Thankfully, they go into my spam folder, but still....

the last thing you want to do is give him an account number to deposit money into !!

and paypal sucks - -you will receive soo much spam it's incredible -

lastly - the moment someone uses the term 'transport agent" - beware -- this sounds like a total scam to me .

tell him you changed your mind - about selling it - or better yet - DON'T ANSWER HIM AT ALL !

Do aussies really say - Have a nice day? really? or brit's even? IDK

I still have not reply his email yet.
Probably i'm not going to bother.
