Is kissing cheating?

the jump from 'reading a diary is worse than kissing a stranger' to 'Cheating is OK as long as the cheater somehow hides it' is pretty fucking big.

anyway, these threads are about giving advice and not about commenting on the advice others have given. admittedly, im a bit guilty of that myself, and i do appreciate you not being all defensive.
 
Cheating is defined as a breaking of trust, it varies from case to case and what cheating means to you. While I am not against a boyfriend making out with another guy in front of me, I am against him doing it without telling me then hiding it from me. If you considered what he did cheating, then confront him about it. Don't let others tell you what their definition of cheating is. Confront him and let him know how you feel, but don't bring the diary up, that could just add wood to the fire. If he doesn't want to be in a relationship, don't stay in it. He will just cheat and you will just be hurt in the end.

I guess it depends on your interpretation of the definition of intimacy. But nowhere in the dictionary is it defined as a physical thing. I always consider intimacy an emotional thing. And kissing certainly can be more emotional than a bj. Why do you think kissing is more rare than bjs in porn?

Intimacy is what you make it... it can be kissing for some people and bjs to another. To some its all the way. Depends on who it is.
